How does the matchmaking work?
At a matchmaking event people meet and greet at high speed. Bilateral meetings take usually 20 to 30 minutes. Each participant registers with a cooperation profile which will be displayed at the event website: https://business2sea-portugal-us.b2match.io/. Each participant can online select meetings with other participants they would like to personally talk to. A few days before the event, each participant will receive a meeting schedule, showing WHO he will meet WHEN and WHERE.
What are the benefits of participating in the matchmaking event?
All participants can present their expertise/projects/technologies online already BEFORE the event. The cooperation profiles will be extensively promoted. Participants can get in contact with each other already before the event and know exactly who they will meet at the event. A matchmaking event therefore presents a very efficient and focused way of finding new collaboration partners.
How can I register to the event?
In the main page of the event, click on the button "Register now”

1. Participation Type
You will have to select the type of participation
Select the event session (for this event only one). If you not sign up for bilateral meeting sessions, you will not be able to book or be booked for bilateral meetings at the event.
You will have to fill out your company and contact information and your local support office.
My profile - VERY IMPORTANT to receive many and high qualified meeting requests. Properly fill in the profile and give details on e.g. product/service/partnership.
At the main page of the event you can click on “Marketplace” to find your opportunities and browse other participants opportunities. The better the quality of your collaboration profile, the more and qualified meeting requests you will receive and the higher the chance that the meetings will have an impact.
Selection of bilateral meetings - 6Mar - 21 Mar
Booking is opened 2 weeks before the event, from March 6-21, after most of the participants have registered. You will be informed by email about the start of the booking. After the booking phase starts you can browse the list of Participants or Marketplace items to search for the most interesting profiles and send meeting requests you can find on each participants profile. You can also receive meeting requests from other companies who are interested in your profile.
How can I confirm a meeting request?
The bookings are managed on the principle "first come - first served", but please pay attention that all meetings requests must be confirmed (accepted or declined) for the meeting to be scheduled. Please check your email regularly (including spam) for updates.
When will I get my personal meeting schedule?
The day before the event you get your final meeting schedule by email. At the event you get the very final schedule as paper copy (taking into account last minute changes and cancellations). We will be there to help you.
What if, due to unforeseen reasons, I cannot participate in the matchmaking event?
Please inform the event organiser immediately or you can cancel your participation by Login in your account, My attendance, Cancel participation.
You can choose/change a password during the registration.
Is it possible to modify my profile?
Yes, it is. Log in via the Login button and click on “Edit my profile” to modify any of the content you have already inserted.
